Typical interrogatives

There are 5 groups of interrogatives.

谁 who 什么 what, which 哪 Which : group I: to ask about sth. or sb.
你是谁？谁爱你？谁去party？我去谁的Party? 谁的字好？谁的？
哪朵花，哪个班？那个人？那位同学？
为（verb, for）什么(compl. d'objet)？Cause, for what=why.
哪里，哪儿，什么地方 where ：group II: ask about a place a venue
你去哪里/那儿/什么地方？
什么时候 多会儿 哪会儿 几时 when: Group III: ask about time
你什么时候去晚会？昨天，今天，明天。上周，本（这）周，下周。
你什么时候去中国？去年，今年，明年。
怎么 怎么样 怎样how group IV: ask about quality, state, means, degree, level.
你父母怎么样？他们很好。
你妈妈的花怎么养？很美。
你的汉语怎样？很差劲，很差，很不好，不好， 马马虎虎，很好，太好了，好极了。
几 how many， for small numbers <10 多少，几何 how much, how many for uncountable or big mumbers 多少钱qian2？（how much does it cost?） group V: quantity
你几岁？
你贵庚几何？十八岁。
你们班（有）几个人？十八个。
你要几个苹果，桃，乒乓球？
你父母有几个孩子？
天上有多少颗星星？数不清。
